• Haras National de Tarbes (5 Miles) - The national stud farm of Tarbes is home to the prestigious anglo-arab horses. Competitions and shows throughout the year.
• Pyrénées National Park (14 Miles) - The Pyrenees National Park is located on the Pyrenean range between Spain and France. The park is home to 75 species of mammals. It is famous for its spectacular cirques, canyons, waterfalls and valleys and offers great hiking opportunities. • Grotte de Massabielle, Lourdes (22 Miles) - It was here that the Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette. Visitors come for a glimpse of these holy rocks and the spring that flows beneath. Nearby, water from the spring where Bernadette washed her face is available for drinking and bringing back home. • Château Fort, Lourdes (24 Miles) - The castle overlooks Lourdes from atop a rocky crag. The current building dates principally from the 14th century. The high square tower and walls of the château now offer panoramas of surrounding Lourdes and guard the displays of the Musée Pyrénéen.
