- Take the exit signposted Cognac.
- Turn right.
- Then take the first street on the left hand-side.
From Angoulême:
- Head towards Saintes/Cognac.
Local Attractions :
• Beaux Arts Museum, Angouleme (6 Miles) - Known by specialists, the collections of African art and Australian arts presented here make the pride of the museum. They gather several thousands parts, comprising masks, ornaments, statuettes, all full of meanings, and sometimes... of evil spells.
• The National Center of the Comic strip and Image, Angouleme (6 Miles) - The Comic strip Festival exists since 1974. The whole city is awaiting the event: the artists and the editors of the whole world meet there. The arts centre, the museums, the theatre, the cathedral, the banks present exposures, spectacles and animations.
• Fontguyon Castle, Saint Amand de Nouere (9 Miles) - (1570) : Gate with pilaster, alongside of a watch tower in corbelling. Court surrounded by agricultural buildings. There is also a vault.
