- Take the N75 towards Grenoble, then follow the A480 for about 7 km before taking the South Ring-road.
Local Attractions :
• Musée de Grenoble (16 Miles) - Founded in 1796, this is one of the country's oldest art museums. Flemish and Italian Renaissance works are displayed. There are a number of older paintings and sculptures, along with artifacts and relics from Greek, Egyptian, and Roman times.
• La Bastille, Grenoble (17 Miles) - First fortified during the middle ages the hill is covered with 19th century fortifications. Europes first town centre cable car links La Bastille to the city. Ride up to view the impressive Alps scenery and learn about the military position served here.
• Musée Dauphinois (17 Miles) - A collection of ethnographic and historic mementos of the Dauphine, folk arts and crafts are displayed. Furnishings, tools, artifacts, and replicas of Alpine settings re-create the life here.
• Parc Naturel Régional De La Chartreuse (33 Miles) - There are amny actvities including high-altitude forests, Alpine pastures, Numerous hiking trails and in winter cross-country skiing and snow shoeing is offered. There are seven downhill ski resorts located in the Chartreuse Mountain Range.
