The Domaine des Dryades is located in the centre of France and in the heartlands of romanticism, between the châteaux of the Loire and the châteaux of the Route Jacques Coeur that lie in the south of the department of Indre in the area around Pouligny-Notre-Dame. Our hotel is 10km from La Châtre, on the d940 road towards La Châtre Guéret.

• La Châtre (10 Miles) - Visit the Georges Sand museum a monument to the early feminist. There are traditional markets, and an old district to explore.
• La Maison de Georges Sand (11 Miles) - Take a guided tour of the castle and its park with a history of Georges Sand, the celebrated french writer.
• Vineyards of Chateaumaillant (15 Miles) - Check out some of the finest wines in the world at this Loire vineyard.
• Lac Eguzon (35 Miles) - This lake hosts all kinds of waterbound activities. The vistas around were amongst the favourite landscapes of the impressionists.
