• The Vulcania (22 Miles) - The worlds first tourist attraction devoted to volcanoes. Built in the mountainous French region of Auvergne, under a range of extinct craters. It is designed to replicate a journey to the centre of the earth. • Puy de Dôme (28 Miles) - The result of a volcanic explosion 10,000 years ago, it is 400m high with staggering views.
