The Hotel Le Pic Blanc is located in Alpe d'Huez, a ski-resort blessed by the Gods. Facing fully south and enjoying all of the sunshine, it has been called 'Sunshine Island'.
Between 1860 and 3300 metres in altitude, 220 kilometres of ski-runs, including the longest in Europe (17 kilometres), areas for the new snow-gliding sports and 54 kilometres of cross-country skiing. Situated in the Bergers neighbourhood, the Hotel HMC Le Pic Blanc offers direct access to the ski runs to the organised entertainment and the ski-resort shops. The hotel includes a restaurant with panoramic terrace, a fully equipped keep-fit centre, covered swimming pool, sauna, spa and cardio-fitness gym, ski-pass booking, high speed internet access, a bar and meetings rooms.
The Hotel "Le Pic Blanc", created in 2001, wears the same name of one of the summits of the Massif of the Big Red-haired mountains (Rothaargebirge), which peaks at 3330 metres. The mountain chalet architecture, covered with stone of country and larch, integrates perfectly into the mountain environment. A warm interior decoration, with sweet tones and wooden developments, ensures a harmonious and warm atmosphere.
The hotel raised on 7 floors, with 94 rooms and suites, which offers open views from the balconies, open views of the skiing domain or on the valley of Romanche and the Massif of Oisans and its mythical summits, la Meije, la Barre des Ecrins, la Muzelle and le Pelvoux among which some exceed 4000 metres of height.
The hotel is located in the district of 'the Bergers' (Herdsmen), from 100 metres of the Commercial Gallery of the Bergers and of departures of ski runs (School of the French Ski).
More than 25 shops, ski and surfing equipment rental and security at your disposal. The Avenue of the Games is very close (3 minutes from the hotel) and accessible by the free shuttle.
Luggage room, post services, fax, internet, information, baby-sitting (subject to availability and paid service), ski room and the lobby is equipped with a Wi-Fi SDSL (1024 KB) connection.
The hotel offers free access to the Health Centre with the following equipment: Swimming pool covered with wide plate glass windows over viewing the South and the valley, the jacuzzi and the sauna, as well as a fitness room.

Access to the hotel:
After having crossed the village of Huez, at the fork, take the right in the direction of 'Alpe d'huez, accès est'. Then turn to the right. The hotel is 100 metres away.
Via the road: Take the A6 Highway to Lyon, then the A48 to Grenoble and proceed in the direction of Briançon, Village of Oisans for 63 kilometres. At the exit of the Village of Oisans, take the left in the direction of Alpes d'huez (13 kilometres).
Via the train: Grenoble Station.
By air: Airports of Lyon Saint Exupery, Geneva and Grenoble.
Taxis: From Grenoble Station approximately EUR 100.00 or Lyon EUR 200.00.
